A Conversation That Started Something
In 2001, at Sarah Harvey's leaving speech, her director shared words that were to become something of mantra: "Sarah has made such a positive contribution and achieved much in her time with us, but anyone who knows her will know it's not just much she does, it's the way she does it that really makes the difference." This observation captured the essence of what would much later evolve into Savvy Conversations®.
From Experience to Insight
Sarah's journey in HR began at 18. For 17 years, she gained hands-on experience in every aspect of HR: from organisational change to recruitment, from workforce planning to staff engagement.
Sarah reflects "I made mistakes in both my HR approach and working relationships. Sometimes, I learnt the hard way, getting things horribly wrong and having to work hard to rebuild my credibility. But these experiences proved invaluable - they taught me that how we communicate shapes everything we do."
